Our Corporate Partner Ast has shown its continued support for our charity by being a silver sponsor for our Cumbria charity ball for the second year in a row.
Founded in 2002 by Mark Aston, Ast is a leading UK branding specialist and comprises of Ast Transport Branding, Ast Signs and Astaura Commercial Interior Design.
Ast has grown from having just three employees, to a team of passionate people across the UK and offers a nationwide service, with offices and application centres in Cumbria and Warrington. It is the only carbon neutral branding company in the UK.
For years it has been a key branding partner for global names in motorsport, haulage and logistics, healthcare and education.
In addition to this, Ast has shown its support for our charity by sponsoring our ball in Cumbria for the second year in a row.
The emerald ball is taking place on 21 November at the Halston in Carlisle.
The event is open to everyone, and there are expected to be supporters, businesses, patients, and members of our operations team in attendance.
Ast has taken up our silver package which is enough to potentially fund the purchase of a life-saving defibrillator to treat patients who have gone into cardiac arrest.
The package includes ten tickets to the ball, two bottles of wine on the table, advertisement in the ball’s evening programme, brand placement on event materials, and much more.
Ast has also previously sponsored our digital advent calendar twice and provided a Selfridges gift voucher and personalised printed canvas as prizes.
In recognition of their charitable support, Ast was awarded Corporate Partner status by GNAAS.
This is given to businesses who raise a minimum of £5,000 in a year, and in return they receive several benefits including invites to charity events, use of our facilities and a visit to our base to see the helicopter up close.
Mark Aston, owner of Ast said: “We’re proud to be a Corporate Partner. We all know someone who has benefitted from the Great North Air Ambulance Service so it’s vital we support the charity and the invaluable work that it does.”
